As is typical of the Martinique AOC, this fine rhum agricole is based on freshly pressed sugar cane juice instead of molasses, which gives it its authentic, terroir-influenced character. The designation “Chauffe Extreme” refers to the particularly strong toasting of the oak barrels in which the rum matures. This extreme barrel toasting brings intense roasted aromas and deep wood spice to the rum’s aroma.
